Sony VAIO VGN-N220E/B 15.4" Laptop Review from rooster_ranch. THE BACK PAGING!!, This is our first laptop so I don’t have anything to compare it to. As the previous review stated, I also was wondering if the back paging while moving the arrow to the left on the screen was due to a Vista or Vaio problem, but I assumed it was Vaio’s touchpad. I agree that it is frustrating when you’re typing an email or review, etc. and you move your arrow across the screen to the left and it just decides to take you back a page before you even click on anything…and usually when you go back forward your text is gone! SOOO FRUSTRATING!
BUT that is the only problem we’ve had with it and I don’t know if that’s major as far as laptops go or not. I contacted Sony about it and they had me try reinstalling drivers, adjusting tap and touch sensitivity, and this and that, (didn’t work) and now they want me to do a system recovery, I haven’t even had it for a month and we just got all our stuff on here! I’m just learning how to maneuver the arrow across the bottom of the screen so it doesn’t flip the pages back as easily, but it still does it sometimes right when you get confident that it’s not going to. 
Otherwise it’s a good laptop, looks good, runs good and easy to figure out.

Thank you David A. Dunlap for the solution to the back paging problem! Very simple solution that worked! Unbelievable that Sony doesn’t know the solution when you contact them with this problem though. Make sure to read David’s review or his comment in my review if you want to fix the dreaded back paging problem. Thank you!
